ONCE UPON A TIME IN BROOKLYN

The love of the game swept Fred Grasso into the lives of hundreds of families.

He was like a “Rain Forest” in the middle of the desert, bringing light into the human spirit that might have gone dark for a moment.

His sword was caring.   His song was loyalty sung in the friendships of boyhood Brooklyn.   His word the bloodline of his teaching soul: “Get better every day”   “Be the best”.

His mission to prepare his ensemble of players for the ultimate game of life.

To make life out of the blood, sweat, tears and joy of hoop dance.

For those of us who were blessed to have known him, he remains memorialized in our hearts and is soulfully present in the words he left in all of us.

"REMEMBER I LOVE YOU"
